Dear TNA District 5 Members,
It’s that time again! We are excited to open the floor for nominations for key positions on the TNA District 5 board.
This is your chance to contribute to the leadership of our district and help shape the future of nursing in our community.
Positions Open for Nomination:
President-Elect (aka Vice President) 3-year term, 2023- 2026 as Vice-President, President-Elect, and Post-President. Acts as officer; Furthers the President’s agenda and TNA District 5's mission; Acts as presiding officer in the absence of the President
Director of Public Relations/Communications and Community Service -2-year term, 2024-2026; Coordinate email website communication and social media presence; Create volunteer opportunities for board and membership; Provide monthly updates to stakeholders
Director of Nursing Practice and Workplace Advocacy- 2-year term. 2024-2026; Provide board and membership with opportunities to be involved in nursing. Practice/workplace advocacy issues in the legislature and in practice. Provide monthly updates to stakeholders
Director of Governmental Affairs- 2-year term, 2023-2025 (Filling vacated term). Monitor, analyze, and track local and state legislation.
Director of Programs & CE- 2-year term. 2024-2026. Provide board and membership with opportunities to be involved in nursing practice/workplace advocacy issues in the legislature and in practice. Provide monthly updates to stakeholders
Secretary- 2-year term. 2024-2026. Keep the minutes for the District meetings. Maintain records; Schedule the notices of time and place of meetings.
TNA Nominating Committee (Nominate two openings)- 2-year term, 2024-2026 Coordinate and manage District nomination and election activities.
