Chelsea has passionately advocated for those with little power or voice since her career began in 2010. She found her passion in helping those who may not see compassion from others. She has worked with forensic criminals, people with intellectual disabilities, those who struggle with mental health, chronic homelessness, substance use, and individuals with traumatic brain injuries. Earning her MSN with a focus on leadership and project management in 2018, Chelsea has continued to ensure that her nursing career is one of advocacy, first and foremost. In addition to her nursing career, she is a fierce champion for equal rights. She has served on several queer leadership boards as secretary/outreach director and had the opportunity to improve accessibility for Austin Pride 2019 drastically. She is currently serving as the Director of Nursing for The Marbridge Foundation.
